A need a plan for storage in the garage

Our rented double garage is too full of our boxy stuff to fit in any cars etc. I have a shed to build and that will take away some stuff, but I need to consolidate a heap of shelving into a working solution.

Maybe it is time to draw up a 'to scale' plan....

I was called into work yesterday. That is a good thing, because although I only worked 5 hours, I think I get 10 hours pay...yah me!

I mowed the block yesterday before the ''call' come from work. Gizmo played with me while I mowed. It is getting easier to do, but it still takes over 2 hours to push the mower up and down the land. I'm sure it will be easier once a giant house covers most of the dirt, and Dee has put in a couple of gardens.

Speaking of gardens, I want a Silver Birch copse in there somewhere. I have seen a nice one on the bus route 436. The copse is made up of 7 or 9 trees (nature loves odd numbers) a few large flat volcanic (rusty coloured) type rocks that are all over this area, a handful of spring bulbs, with jonquils or Narcissus ( See here ) being my favourite, and tan bark mulch to fill in the gaps. This copse reminds me of Christchurch and looks like it might be shady and cool during the hot Melbourne summers.

I've built another shelf in my room for more plastic storage boxes. My idea there is that one day I will sort the different cables and bits and pieces into some form of order. For now, the order is chaos.
