Weekly round up

I've spent the past week working on getting as many resumes posted out and applications lodged. the rejection notices are starting to flow back, but I need to remember that that is just part of the deal. I recieved my final pay from the old job, and now I know where my budget lies and how much time I have(roughly) before the funds run out. Time for me to pull finger so to speak.

I've tried to keep busy around the house, with washing and dusting high on the lists. I'm always amazed how quickly three girls, two dogs, and two cats can trash a place, but I will endure....

I've managed to indulge my whim and I partitioned my main hard drive into two drives, without losing any data at this stage, and I installed Windows 7 RC1 into the new partition. The old XP box now dual boots, so I have an XP system, and a play Win7 system so I'll be doing a bit of learning along the way. I've also created an Ubuntu USB boot disk, but I haven't tested it fully, as Casey is taking my Unbuntu/XP laptop away with her when she goes on her house-sitting job.
