OK, this is becoming silly...another 5 months since...

...my last confession. The nuns will be disappointed with me. So what's been happening since the last post back in January. Well, Casey is now at a local Uni, doing an Art Degree, Kirby changed school and settled into it very well. She is doing year 11, which means she has to be a bit more responsible for her work. Kirby also has a part-time job at a kids playground/party room business. Dee is spending more time working from home, and I'm spending more time working in the office.

My roles is morphing into a Sales role, and I'm not entirely happy about it, but there is enough there to keep me coming back.

We've sold the house and are now looking for a new home, but not having much luck. We won't be out on the street though, as we have the option of staying here for 12 months after the sale goes through. Still have to find somewhere else but.

Meg the cat died, and we have not replaced her, but Bear the cat is not getting beaten up as much now. Mack still rules, and is bringing Casey lots of mice to show her.

Gizmo has his winter coat, and still loves to play 'ball'

I spend my weekends, like this week, recharging the batteries, watching super-14 Rugby when I can, grabbing a couple of movies and teaching Casey how to drive. Kirby starts her driving lessons today. I've also changed the water in one of the fish tanks, and I have another to do tomorrow, which is Mothers Day.

The Month in Review...just where do these days go?

Since May, my life has been 'on the go'. After the last FP visit, we had another person visit us, with the the same story, but she was much nicer about our woeful financial position, so Dee and I heard her out. We liked her so much that we invited her back next month for another chat. In the meantime, we have put our block of land up for sale...there goes Dee's dream of a new house for the short term. Our plan is to clear our debts with the profit from the land sale, and then start again with a deposit from what is left over. Dee will have completed her two year limbo with the Tax Office and I shall get a better paying job. We clear on that? For many many years, I have had a little statement rolling around in my head. I can't recall where I heard it, but I know it was not an original idea of my own. It goes something like this...
