New toys - living and electronic

Image hosted by Photobucket.comHowdy folks, my name is Gizmo. My bosses picked me up from the farm in Feb 05 and now I'm 5 months old in human terms, but really I'm nearly 3 dog years old. Dad let my paw this blog 'cos he is really busy at work, helping to organise a big office relocation up in Sydney



Dad found a new site he is trying out called Photobucket, because he has bought a new Digital camera and now he reckons he has lots of photos to show people. The little bosses, Casey and Kirby, really like his new electronic toy and I don't think Dad really gets to use it THAT much. This photo of me was taken by Casey.



Dad thinks he can put some more photos of the little bosses and other stuff over the next few weeks, but I'm not so sure, because he hardly plays with me and I have to wake him up every morning with licks otherwise he is late for work. I wake up everyone in the house.



I can't wake up Nathaniel, because he moved away because I smelled too much, but I don't think I really did. I think he moved away because he needed to go snow boarding more, now he has all that equipment, and he didn't want me to bite it . grrrr wullff!!



Gotta go now, Pepsi needs to be told off 'cos he is a cat. Dad will show you Pepsi another day. Don't look at him too much or else he will growl at you like he growls at me.

The Month in Review...just where do these days go?

Since May, my life has been 'on the go'. After the last FP visit, we had another person visit us, with the the same story, but she was much nicer about our woeful financial position, so Dee and I heard her out. We liked her so much that we invited her back next month for another chat. In the meantime, we have put our block of land up for sale...there goes Dee's dream of a new house for the short term. Our plan is to clear our debts with the profit from the land sale, and then start again with a deposit from what is left over. Dee will have completed her two year limbo with the Tax Office and I shall get a better paying job. We clear on that? For many many years, I have had a little statement rolling around in my head. I can't recall where I heard it, but I know it was not an original idea of my own. It goes something like this... A man's weekly wage can buy a bicycle or a good suit of clothes A man's monthly wage can buy a reasonable car A man's yearly wage can buy a luxury car A man's Half yearly wage will allow him to take a family of four on an overseas holiday Three years of a Man's wage could buy a small house/home ...and all this was from 100 years ago.
