So that was a month eh?

My my, time does get away from you when you are not looking. I've been busy, which goes without saying really, because if I had nothing to do, I would write about it here, and I haven't been posting here...so I've been busy..

Okay, I got my car back, albeit a bit smashed up. The front passenger window was broken and the dipstick was missing. They used the dipstick to start the car. They drove it until it ran out of petrol, then left it in the rain for a couple of days. I spent a bit of money repairing it, and I brought a steering lock, which was all I need to stop it being stolen for joy rides again, according to my mechanic.

On the job front, I've been offered the full time role at the law firm. Now the work gets a bit more serious. One of the reasons I haven't written here lately.

Dee and I are still great, but I will need to put Niagara on the market soon and start to travel a bit more. The plan is for me to wait out the 3 month probation on the job, and then push on with our dreams.

Dee and I went to an important person's birthday party last Friday night and we saw all sorts of people whom we should have known who they were, but because we don't follow much news...we didn't. We just enjoyed ourselves and chatting with a pair of actresses from the Melbourne region.

I popped up to Sydney yesterday to sort a few things out, and to show my face about, but I wasn't well.

I'm home sick today. It has turn into a vicious stomach bug, and the only thing I can eat, that doesn't go straight through me, is an Invalid's Egg Nog. It is a recipe I remembered from the good old Edmonds Cookbook, and mum used to make it for me when I was little. That's how I feel today. Small and vunerable. The recipe is cold Milk, an egg, a dash of salt, a heap of sugar (I think) and a sprinkle of nutmeg, blended and poured into a glass.

Reading this week:: Lots of Work emails, bits of newspapers, Stick to your Dreams book (in the toilet)
Listening this week:: Not much mate, not much. Maybe a bit a Classic Gold from the 70's
Exercise:: Surprisingly, considering my illness, I've walked quite a bit this week.
